Longat Ameron Siahaan obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) from Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, in 2007. During his college times, he put his interest in Business Law and Criminal Law, and developed a strong interest in which later become the subject of his minor thesis. He graduated earning a cum laude.

After graduation, Longat participated in an internship program in June 2007 in Widyawan & Partners and later promoted as a Paralegal in the firm before finally promoted as an Associate in May 2008.

Longat has assisted in transactions concerning general corporate, foreign investment, and oil and gas.

He speaks fluent English and Indonesian.
